Services Provided

Mum2You provides Child & Family Health and related healthcare services, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our services at any time.

All information and guidance provided by Mum2You constitutes advice only. Parents/guardians are ultimately responsible for all decision-making regarding their child's care.

User Obligations

Clients must provide accurate and complete information when registering for our services. You agree not to misuse our services or engage in any unlawful activities while using our platform.

Payment Terms

All fees are stated in Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise specified. Payments must be made using valid payment methods, and clients are responsible for maintaining up-to-date payment information. Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change, and we strive to accommodate our clients while ensuring the sustainability of our services. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Notice Period: Clients must provide at least seven (7) clear business days' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Short-Notice Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than seven days' notice may incur a fee equivalent to 100% of the scheduled service cost.

  • No-Shows: Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment without prior notification will be charged the full service fee.

  • Illness: If you are unwell, please inform us as soon as possible. We will waive cancellation fees if notified due to illness.

  • Practitioner Illness: If your assigned practitioner is unable to provide services due to illness, we will contact you promptly to reschedule your appointment at no charge.

For clients under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), a minimum of seven days' notice is required for cancellations. Short-notice cancellations may incur fees as per NDIS guidelines.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Mum2You is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Professional Standards and Duty of Care

Qualifications and Registration

All healthcare professionals at Mum2You have completed university studies in their respective fields and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Clients can verify the registration status, qualifications, and suitability of our practitioners through Ahpra's public practitioner search function.

Compliance with NMBA and RACGP Standards

Mum2You is committed to maintaining high standards of care as outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and, where applicable, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). We strive to meet these standards to ensure quality healthcare delivery that protects patients from harm by improving safety across all aspects of service provision.

Professional Standards

Our nurses adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics developed by professional regulatory bodies such as the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). These codes ensure that all services are delivered with integrity, respect, and professionalism.

Duty of Care

Our nurses have a legal and professional duty of care to provide safe, competent, and ethical healthcare services to all clients:

  • Safe and Competent Care: Nurses at Mum2You deliver care that meets the standard expected of a reasonably competent practitioner. This includes adhering to established protocols and guidelines to prevent harm.

  • Scope of Practice: Each nurse practices within their scope based on their education, experience, and skills. They recognize their limitations and seek guidance when necessary.

  • Continuous Improvement: Our staff engage in ongoing professional development to enhance their knowledge and skills.

  • Reporting Concerns: Nurses report any circumstances that may compromise client safety or professional standards.

By accepting our services, clients acknowledge this duty of care and agree to provide accurate information to assist our healthcare professionals.

Mum2You does not accept any medical liability related to the advice provided or decisions made by parents. Our role is strictly advisory in nature.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Mum2You website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Mum2You or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian copyright laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mum2You's liability for any breach of these Terms is limited to the resupply of services or a refund at our discretion. We do not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our services.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our services if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct detrimental to Mum2You or other users.

Dispute Resolution
